What is a captive screws?
A captive screw is designed to stay in place within an assembly, even when the assembly is taken apart. Captive screws typically have an unthreaded portion below the head. This prevents the screw from being fully removed from the hole, so they can’t fall out or get lost. Captive screws with our metal enclosures may require additional torque.
What is the temperature range on your products?
MORXER enclosures are available in either aluminum, steel, ABS plastic or Polycarbonate plastic. In general, plastic enclosures will have a reduced recommended operating temperature compared to aluminum and steel. Their properties will change at both low and high temperatures and may no longer be stable. Generally, ABS will have useful characteristics within a temperature range from −20 to 80 °C (−4 to 176 °F), whereas Polycarbonate’s temperature range is from -40°C to 120°C (-40°F to 248°F). However, components of the enclosure (such as a gasket) can still affect the ranges in which the enclosure can operate. I'm having difficulty placing the cover onto the base. Are my boxes defective?
There is some bowing that can occur on the walls of the enclosures. This happens as the box cools, after being removed from the molding tool. This is inherent to the design and not considered a defect. There is a technique that can help you assemble the covers onto the bases. When putting the cover on, put one corner on first and push the cover towards that corner, then press down. This will allow the cover to be easily pressed into place before screwing down.
What is the convex shaped arc visible on the base of my enclosure?
If you are seeing a convex-shaped arc that appears about 1/2" from the bottom of the base, we refer to this as "sunshine." The sunshine does not affect functionality. It is simply an aesthetic characteristic resulting from the design of the box and how the material flows in the mold. While it can vary slightly from run to run, "sunshine" is typical on each part. MORXER controls our quality standards, and some level of sunshine is acceptable. This feature does not impact the functionality or structural integrity of the enclosure.
Can I ship collect on my account?
As a standard, we do not offer shipping collect on customer accounts as we have had too many issues with chargebacks and refusal to pay in recent years. Additionally, by using our Prepay Carrier option, you benefit from our highly competitive rates tailored specifically to our products. Carrier accounts calculate shipping costs based on actual weight or dimensional weight, whichever is greater. Many of our products are lightweight, causing shipments to be billed on dimensional weight vs actual weight. Our discounts are specifically geared toward these dimensional weights, ensuring low-cost and competitive rates. Shipping with us will likely save you money, and we highly value your cost savings. Additionally, shipping prepay allows us to assist you with any claims through UPS or FedEx should any issues arise. If you choose to ship on your own collect account, we are unable to provide support once the product leaves MORXER. We display our pricing for ground and expedited options directly on our website at the time of checkout, giving you clear and convenient access to our competitive rates.
The courier has lost or damaged my package, what do I do?
Prepay and Add:
If the order is shipped prepay and add, MORXER will file a claim for any lost or damaged orders. Please contact us with the order number and relevant information. Most lost packages are typically recovered and delivered within a few days. We will open a case for you and monitor the delivery status.
Will MORXER sign non-disclosure agreements?
MORXER is a supplier of "off-the-shelf" products. Our products are not custom-built for one specific customer and are distributed to various customers. Therefore, we do not sign NDA's or other documents that could limit us in any way from selling our products. There is a technique that can help you assemble the covers onto the bases. What is your return policy?
Contact a customer service representative to receive an authorized RMA number to return the product. You will be asked for a description of why you are returning the product, PO or invoice number, and total number of parts to be returned. All shipments should be inspected upon receipt. Any concerns must be brought to our attention before any assembly or modifications occur. To receive a full refund, the original item must be in the condition it was received. Stock parts: All parts must be returned within 30 days. MORXER will offer credit for parts passing inspection only. No credit can be given for shipping costs. A restocking fee of 20% will be charged. The restocking fee may be waived if placing a new order of equal or greater value. Customized parts: No returns accepted. Any customized product is non-refundable and non-cancellable. Missing components: All shipments should be inspected upon receipt; any concerns of missing components must be brought to our attention within 30 days of receiving the shipment. Defective parts: If parts have manufacturing defects or are customized incorrectly, MORXER must be notified within 6 months of receiving the shipment. As storage conditions may affect part quality, no parts will be refunded after 6 months.

Does MORXER offer additional discounts to distributors?
MORXER is a global e-commerce business that sells directly to customers, and we offer bulk discounts based on quantity.
Do you charge Sales Tax?
MORXER does not currently charge sales tax in all states. If you have a tax-exempt certificate, please email it to morxer@outlook.com.
How do I place a custom order and what happens next?
Please select the model you wish to order from the product page and let us know if customization is needed, along with any specific requirements. MORXER engineers will review your drawings, and if any clarifications are necessary, we will reach out. They will then create production drawings based on your specifications and upload them for your approval. Once approved, we will proceed with production.
What forms of payment do you accept?

What is a fit-to-sample?
A fit-to-sample is recommended if you're uncertain about your drawings or unable to provide them. It ensures that your components fit properly into the enclosures by having our team reverse-engineer the design. The cost ranges from $100 to $600, depending on complexity. The quote surfaces and features may change depending on the submitted components. We’ll ask you to send all relevant components, including circuit boards, custom-machined enclosures, and panel mount connectors. Once we receive your items, we'll confirm the price and proceed with your custom order, returning your parts along with the completed enclosure. During the fit-to-sample process, we will submit drawings for approval along with any additional notes or questions. You will need to confirm that all the features you believe are required are accounted for. You will also need to acknowledge any notes or questions. Please note that sometimes these sizes and locations will change after approval.
When will I receive my production drawing files?
Production drawings are created after a custom order is placed. These drawings will be uploaded to your account for review and approval before production on your part begins. For the standard 3-week lead time, production files are typically completed within 1-2 weeks.
How do I access my saved quotes?
To find all your custom quotes, log in and navigate to your account. There, you'll find your quotes under "My Quotes & Custom Parts." If you're part of a company account, your personal quotes will still be under "My Quotes & Custom Parts," while quotes created by your colleagues will be listed under "Company Quotes & Custom Parts." This system helps you easily distinguish between your quotes and those created by your colleagues
What are the one-time charges?
These are non-recurring charges on your first order for a new or revised project to set-up and create your new customized part (i.e. create custom part numbers, engineering drawings, CNC programs, digital artwork files and printing plates for the enclosures). The charges are applied to first time new and revised orders only.
What is a feature?
A feature consists of any size or shape through-holes, countersinks, counter-bores, recesses, bevels, taps, screw tower removals, mounting boss removals, or interior wall thinning. For example, a round hole would be 1 feature. A round hole with countersink would be 2 features (1 feature for the through hole, 1 feature for adding the countersink). Counterbored holes and threaded holes would also be considered 2 features. Examples of common features are shown below. Non-standard features can be quoted by contacting MORXER Technical Support.
Can I expedite my order?
We offer 3-7 day production expedite options. Expedite pricing can be found on your quote. (Standard lead time is 2 weeks.)
I need a size product I don't see on your website. Can I get a custom product molded?

Can MORXER machine down the height of the enclosure?
Because the enclosure covers are created to fit tightly to the enclosure, once the base is machined down the covers will no longer fit. So this is only recommended for potting boxes or applications that do not require a cover.
Does MORXER have standard machining options that I can choose from?
We can machine any size or shape holes that you needed, on any surface of the enclosure. Polycase design engineers are happy to help you with the design if you need assistance. Based on the board and connectors you use, together we will be able to determine the best locations and sizes of holes that would work for your product.
What are your machining capabilities?
MORXER can machine virtually any size or shape opening that you may require, however all drawings will be reviewed by MORXER to ensure manufacturability. All square and rectangular cutouts will typically have a minimum corner radius of 0.031" and tolerance on machined features will typically be +/-0.005" and these may increase depending on enclosure selected and feature machined. For components we typically recommend sizing your cutouts to be .040" larger than the component (or .020" for round cutouts). Occasionally, certain features may not be able to be machined or will require a non-standard approach which could increase the machining price. This would be determined when the order is placed. What’s the difference between digital printing and pad printing?
Digital printing involves the spraying of ink directly onto the enclosure and then curing with UV light. The printer uses software to manage the image, controlling when the printer releases tiny droplets of ink directly onto the enclosure’s surface. The ink is applied in a specific sequence and pattern that allows the digital image to be accurately recreated. Digital printers have the capacity to print a variety of colors and gradients, but there are some limitations (like neon colors). When digital printing, we utilize specially designed fixtures to ensure accuracy. Because of this, if the enclosure is too large or has a feature that will compromise the print or equipment, we will likely resort to pad printing. Pad printing uses a plate to transfer ink from the pad to the enclosure. This method only allows one color to be printed at a time, along with only being able to do a single enclosure at a time. The quality between digital printing and pad printing oftentimes does not vary.
Is your ink scratch resistant?
The ink used in the digital printing process is UV cured. The adhesion / scratch resistance of the ink on the plastic is excellent. The ink cannot be scratched off of the plastic without mechanically scratching into the plastic itself. Internal cross hatch cut and tape testing resulting in no ink being pulled up after testing was completed.
Is your ink UV resistant?
The ink used in our printing process is acrylic based; UV cured, and is an ink system that is used for labels. It's not labeled as UV resistant because it reacts with, and is cured by UV light. However, the ink can be exposed to UV rays. The ink is commonly used in the sign and banner industries which endure heavy UV exposure. As with any ink, the color will fade over time. You may start to see fading in 2-3 years for typical outdoor applications and 3-5 years for typical indoor applications.
What artwork is required for printing?
Vector based artwork is required. This includes, but is not limited to, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, and .pdf or .eps files. Colors will be printed per your electronic artwork file. Artwork should be designed for the CMYK color space. If a PMS color value is requested, the CMYK equivalent will be printed. There may be a color shift in the process depending on the specific spot color. Black, red, and white are the available colors for keypad printing. When printing is ordered, graphic file(s) with fonts converted to outlines or curves is suggested. If not converted, any fonts that are used should be sent along with the graphic file(s). If a font is not provided MORXER will use Arial.
What are your printing capabilities?
MORXER offers full-color digital printing (also referred to as a 4-color process or CMYK) on most surfaces. It can be used for simple text, gradients, blended colors, color transitions, or photo-quality images. Vector based artwork (designed for the CMYK color space) is required for printing. MORXER does not perform a digital color match to a specific Pantone color. With digital printing, neon or some bright colors may be unachievable. Please contact MORXER for more information to determine if the desired ink color is achievable. In the unlikely event a surface is not eligible for full-color digital printing, MORXER can pad print. During approval process, MORXER will advise if pad printing will be performed.
